Jim Hohnberger

About Me

Jim Hohnberger is the co-founder of Empowered Living Ministries alongside his wife, Sally Hohnberger. Jim Hohnberger has authored 9 books and dedicates his life to meeting the needs of others.

Originally Jim had little to no interest in religious matters as he felt as though there was a great deal of hypocrisy present. But Jim’s life changed after his dentist got him interested in studying the Bible. Desiring a better life, Jim Hohnberger and Sally Hohnberger sold everything and moved to Glacier National Park in Montana. They found what they had been missing--that God was in fact real, and was ever present and a help in time of need.

God had many changes in mind for Jim Hohnberger. First, by asking him to be the priest and the patriarch of his own home. Jim Hohnberger credits God for improving his marriage and teaching his family how to be Christ-centered. Out of this experience, a ministry grew, Empowered Living Ministries. It was never Jim’s intent to form a ministry, but it was certainly God’s plan.

Over the years, Jim Hohnberger and Sally Hohnberger have traveled all over the US, and more than 20 countries around the world to share what God has taught them about marriage, raising children and walking with God daily. If you ask Jim what motivates him, he says he’s always hungry for more of God.
